Vice President for Government Affairs and Communications

The VP for Government Affairs and Communications will develop and implement a comprehensive external relations strategy to ensure that the Ed Trust’s efforts effectively focus the attention of key audiences on inequities in public education and the actions necessary to close gaps in both opportunity and achievement.

Vice President for Higher Education Policy and Practice

The Education Trust, an organization dedicated to closing the achievement gaps that separate low-income students and students of color from other youth, is seeking a Vice President for Higher Education Policy and Practice.

The Education Trust fulfills its mission through a strategy that combines rigorous analysis and reporting of education data, on-the-ground technical support to educators working to improve results for students, and ardent advocacy at both the state and national level.

Vice President, K-12 Policy and Practice

The VP, K-12 Policy and Practice will develop and execute strategies to ensure that the Ed Trust’s K-12 efforts effectively focus national attention on inequities in public education and the actions necessary to close gaps in both opportunity and achievement.

Director of Communications

Reporting to the Vice President for Government Affairs and Communications, the Director of Communications at The Education Trust will lead an ambitious effort to advance the organization’s equity agenda by disseminating our work and message to a wide variety of stakeholders nationwide, including policymakers, practitioners, advocates, parents, and students. Through the use of both online and offline strategies and mechanisms, the Director will be responsible for increasing awareness of the critical importance of  efforts to close academic achievement gaps and improve educational outcomes for low-income students and students of color.

K-12 Data Analyst

The Education Trust seeks a K-12 Data Analyst to support the organization’s division of K-12 Policy and Practice. Reporting to the Senior Policy and Data Analyst, the K-12 Data Analyst will research and analyze K-12 data from varied sources to better understand patterns in educational opportunity and achievement within and across schools, districts, and states. The K-12 Data Analyst will also provide key analytic support for the development of online data tools and mobile applications that make equity-oriented data analyses easily accessible to advocates, parents, educators and the public.
