Jennifer Engle
Prior to joining The Education Trust, Jennifer was senior research analyst and interim director of the Pell Institute, the research arm of the Council for Opportunity in Education, an organization that advocates on behalf of TRIO programs and students. She was the lead author of several reports, including “Demography Is Not Destiny: Increasing Graduation Rates for Low-Income Students at Large, Public Universities,” “Straight from the Source: What Works for First-Generation College Students,” and “Moving Beyond Access: College Success for Low-Income, First-Generation Students,” coauthored with Vincent Tinto. Jennifer earned her doctorate at American University.
