Improving High School Student Achievement through Opportunities for Leadership
Leadership excellence has been the driving force behind improved student achievement at Lancaster High School. A visionary administrator with the knowledge and background to support school-wide reorganization for student achievement, a nationally affiliated education specialist, and highly qualified teacher leaders have improved student academic achievement, particularly for minority and disadvantaged students at Lancaster High School. Through a shared leadership model, Lancaster High School is fully accredited by the Commonwealth of Virginia and has met all benchmarks for Adequate Yearly Progress under the No Child Left Behind Act.
