Leadership Lessons: A District’s Journey From Sanctions to Success
In less than three years, high-poverty Caldwell School District vaulted from federal sanctions to Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in nine out of ten schools. Partnering with a university and the state department of education, the Caldwell Academy of Leadership trained principals how to set high goals for student achievement and retain the strongest staff.
