Session 41: It’s Being Done: Academic Success in Unexpected Schools
Author Karin Chenoweth will be joined by representatives of schools featured in “It’s Being Done” to discuss what it takes to be a high-performing or rapidly improving school where most of the students are children of poverty or children of color or both. This is an opportunity to hear first-hand not only from the author of one of the hottest education books of the year but from educators who have thought deeply about the obstacles to improvement and have overcome many if not all of them.
