Battelle for Kids, a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing student learning by bringing clarity to school improvement, will share information about how the organization is leading one of the country’s largest value-added initiatives, Schools Online Assessment Reports (SOAR). Presenters will provide a conceptual overview of value-added analysis and its benefits, discuss how value-added information can be used for school improvement and share stories about how one Ohio teacher and one school district are using this information to improve teaching and learning practices.
