This session describes the journey of one large district’s school counselors as they transformed their work from ancillary responsive services to data-driven advocacy and leadership. Learn the steps they took, including identifying and using important systemic data, reducing resistance, avoiding potential pitfalls, making careful plans for sustaining momentum (especially during shrinking budgets), and informing all stakeholders.
