Can expanded learning time (ELT) help your students succeed? The After-School Corporation (TASC) says “Yes”. This New York-based nonprofit presents findings from a three-year study of its ELT program now piloting in ten NYC public schools. Early results show promise: Students improve behavior and achievement, principals align in-school and after-school learning, teachers seize chances to help students beyond class time, and families get involved. Come hear the lessons learned from this experiment and see how they might apply to your own schools.
