The Education Trust's core mission is to ensure students of color and low-income students, pre-k through college, have an equitable chance at a good education. In the inaugural issue of its annual report, the Ed Trust relates how it goes about carrying out the work that supports this mission: analyzing and interpreting student data, carefully crafting policy recommendations, improving teaching practice, and promoting access and success in higher education.

This report, The Education Trust 2011 Annual Report, features a time line of pivotal events in the organization's history, as well as several staff profiles that capture what it's like to do this work in a dynamic environment with committed education advocates as colleagues.
