The Education Trust—West invites you to join our “Diploma Matters" webinar on Tuesday, January 31st from 10:00 am -11:00 am (Pacific Standard Time) to learn how districts and schools can ensure all students have the choice to attend college. Dr. Linda Murray, former Superintendent of San Jose Unified School District and author of the book Diploma Matters: A Field Guide for College and Career Readiness (2011), will highlight the challenges and successes she encountered in San Jose to increase college eligibility with a diverse student population. Webinar participants will learn about the process and tools Dr. Murray developed at ETW to expose and then eliminate barriers to college preparation (Educational Opportunity Audit and Blueprint Process), and about opportunities to work with ETW and our organizational partners to support the goal of increasing college readiness and success for all students.
